With the socially active youth market firmly in its sights the Jalou comes complete with email, instant messenger, SMS and MMS, a very good predictive text module and access to web feeds and dedicated YouTube functions. It also features Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS, 3G HSDPA and is a quad band device, but the lack of Wi-Fi is a bit of a let down.
Seven hours talk time and 350 hours standby won’t set the world talking, and neither will 100MB of memory, but the additional microSD memory stick provides additional capacity and the talk time is no worse than many in its class.
We reckon that if you are a girl looking for a well priced and great looking phone with some neat and quirky features you may well love the Jalou; if you’re a boy you will probably look elsewhere. It’s a decent phone that appeals to those it’s designed for.
Sony Ericsson has a lot of stylish phones and music feature phone. Most of these though are high priced but you can cut some price back to you via free phone contract or online deals available online.
