In exchange for the great messaging features, Sony Ericsson made a cut back on multimedia but it's not such a big deal.  It has good features that you'll like from a Walkman phone. Well it's a Walkman phone so naturally it has its famous Walkman Music Player. The sound is still as good but it lacks tweaking features but you won't notice it that much as the Player emits great sound quality anyway.
