Keeping you connected no matter where you travel, the galaxy supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA . To make browsing the internet fun and pleasurable, the Galaxy uses Chrome Lite browser.

Sadly, the battery life is also disappointing which is expected because of the screen size. If your don’t use your phone that often, this should be a problem. However, you still might want to keep you phone charger close at hand.

The Samsung Galaxy Portal has an internal memory of only 180MB.
That really doesn’t provide enough space to store all your photos, texts, emails and music. But you can add more space with the additional micro SD card giving you 1GB of extra memory.

The things we liked about this phone is the fact that it offers the popular 3.5mm headphone jack and it has Cleaver Smart Unlock system.

What we didn’t like was the lack of a QWERTY keyboard, the widgets are too large and the operating system could have been better.
So, no, the Samsung Galaxy Portal is not futuristic, but it does have an affordable price tag, so it might be worth a second look. This affordable phone can get cheaper with best mobile contract deals that are easily found on the Internet.
